Draper Drought Ends

Kris Draper made his season debut at the Dec 4th game at L.A. against the Kings and Chris Osgood return home to the net.

Draper had been out suffering from a groin injury that occurred during the first day of training camp. The injury advanced into a sports hernia which required surgery. Osgood also returned to the net after he had been out for 13 games due to a pulled groin.

Draper saw little ice time in his first game back, a precautionary decision by Coach Babcock to help him get eased back into the game.

Osgood made 22 saves but ultimately the Wings were defeated 3-2 in overtime.
